Travelers take on Epic Putt Challenge at Sea-Tac

Date: May 12, 2015 | Category:

Are you a golf fan who will be traveling through the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport between now and June 14th? Be sure to stop by the "Epic Putt Challenge."

This 50-foot-long putting green is a part of the U.S. Golf Association's "Open for All" initiative to bring the U.S. Open off the golf course and into the public eye. Grab a putter and sink a few shots for free, all while waiting for your flight.

If you happen to be passing through the airport on June 13th, you can also see the U.S. Open Championship Trophy. Take a photo with it and use the appropriate social media tags and you'll even be entered to win 2 tickets for the 2015 U.S. Open Championship on June 15-21 in Chambers Bay, Washington. This is the first year the famous competition will take place in the Pacific Northwest.

If you try out the "Epic Putt Challenge," you'll also be entered to win the U.S. Open Championship tickets. Putters start with a short putt and then challenge themselves from farther away. You'll keep walking away from the hole until you've tried hitting from the entire green (or you have to run to catch your flight!).
